The university's next open day takes place on Sunday 10th March, and as it coincides with Mothering Sunday mums will be offered a bunch of daffodils and a complimentary hot drink.
Students considering applying to Bishop Grosseteste University for next September will be able to explore the campus in uphill Lincoln and talk to academic staff about all courses, including undergraduate degrees, foundation degrees, postgraduate study and masters courses.
Student ambassadors from BGU will be on hand to lead visitors on tours of the campus and a document checking service will be available so that applicants who hold an offer with BGU can bring in any documents to check before they enrol.
The university's student advice team will be available to talk to students and their families about issues such as student finance and the accommodation team will advise on places to live. For those who don't know Lincoln a free minibus tour of the city will also be on offer.
"Until you visit and take a look for yourself it's hard to get a good impression of what a university is like," said Louise Stow, Student Recruitment Manager at BGU.
"Our open days provide a great opportunity for prospective students, together with their families and friends, to look around our campus and talk with staff and students. Our university campus is a beautiful, friendly place and we're looking forward to welcoming all our visitors on Mother's Day."
The open day at Bishop Grosseteste University runs from 11am until 4pm on Sunday 10th March. Lunch and snacks will be available to buy throughout the day in the dining room in Constance Stewart Hall and the university's coffee shop Curiositea will also be open.
