The Heritage Consortium Committee and Bishop Grosseteste University invite you to join us for the Dr Jim Johnston Memorial Lecture for 2013, 'Surnames, DNA and Family History'.
David Hey is Emeritus Professor of Local and Family History at the University of Sheffield. He is President of the British Association for Local History and the Chairman of the British Record Society. His numerous books include The Oxford Companion to Family and Local History (Oxford University Press), Family Names and Family History (London & Hambledon) and (with George Redmonds and Turi King), Surnames, DNA and Family History (O.U.P.).
Tickets for the event are £12 per person (or £6 without buffet lunch).
