Launch of City of Lincoln branch of The Historical Association

 The City of Lincoln branch of The Historical Association will be launched this evening (Wednesday 19th February 2014) at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln, where it will be based.

To mark the event Dr Tracy Borman will give an inaugural lecture entitled 'Lincoln: A city rich in history, heritage and witchcraft'. Dr Borman is Chief Executive of the Heritage Education Trust, Joint Chief Curator of Historic Royal Palaces (the charity which looks after such iconic sites as the Tower of London and Hampton Court) and the author of numerous books.

A reception with refreshments will be offered from 5pm in the Robert Hardy Building, and the lecture will begin at 6pm.

Members of the media are invited to attend for photographs and interviews.
